Home: Welcome

Out of college, I turned an internship at Iowa PBS into short-term employment there where I was able to put my broadcast journalism skills to use in a number of ways. My duties at Iowa PBS included helping with the production of in-house shows "Market to Market" and "Iowa Press," helping with remote shoots of live broadcast events, and independent production of videos for broadcast on Iowa PBS.

I am currently in search of my next opportunity to put my skills to use.

About me...

Storytelling and performance has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Through journalism, video production, and performing arts I am able to do what I love, and provide either a service or entertainment to the general public.

I am a graduate of Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. At Iowa State, I studied both journalism and performance before graduating summa cum laude with honors, and earning bachelor's degrees in both Journalism and Mass Communication as well as Performing Arts with an emphasis in acting/directing and musical theatre.

While studying and earning my degrees, I acted in many of ISU's theatrical productions. I also served as cinematographer on Iowa State's livestreamed production of "Songs for a New World". In addition to working on live theatre, I was also co-host of an entertainment talk show on ISU's student radio station, 88.5 KURE.
